Scallop Quilt Pattern: Temperance the Tortoise

The key to sewing this tortoise quilt pattern is that you start at the top of the shell (the row with two scallops) and work down. Only on the third row of scallops do you need to sew down all the sides of the scallops; on the first two the raw edges are hidden by the next row.
